For the timely and effective implementation of the “Maternal and Child Health Integrated Care Project” (MCHIC)under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, on September 30, 2013, a training course on gender issues in health sector was conducted for PAG.
The training was conducted by PAG specialist on gender and social protection of the Project, Masuda Bobokhojaeva. She has familiarized the participants on gender issues in the Republic of Tajikistan, gender violence, ADB policy on achieving gender equality and gender mainstreaming for the MCHIC project and other subject-specific topics.
It should be noted that holding of such events and training courses will contribute to knowledge and skills development of the PAG staff in regards to successful implementation of the MCHIC project.
