Virtual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank Independent Mission for the Validation of Tajikistan’s country Partnership Strategy for 2016-2020

Today in the hall of the Project Administration Group (PAG) “Maternal and Child Health Integrated Care” (MCHIC) project under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population (MOHSPP) of the Republic of Tajikistan there was held a Virtual Meeting of the ADB Independent Mission on the Validation of Tajikistan’s country Partnership Strategy for 2016-2020.

         The meeting was attended by: Bandaev I.S., Head of the Department of Reforms, Primary Health Care and International Relations of MOHSPP of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mahmudzoda I.S., Manager of PAG of the MCHIC Project, Bin Nguyen, ADB Principal Evaluattion Specialist, Ma Juan Dimayuga, ADB Senior Evaluation Officer, Glenny Castillo, ADB Associate Evaluation Analyst, Gabriella Feratsii, International Consultant, and Firuz Kataev, National Consultant.

         It should be noted that the Mission for the Validation of Tajikistan’s country Partnership Strategy for 2016-2020, will be held from July 20 to August 3, 2020, conducted by the ADB’s Independent Evaluation Department based on the letter from the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Davlatali Said №22 / 3-342 dated 9.07.2020.

         In the course of the meeting the parties discussed the structure and planning of Design and Monitoring Framework (DMF) and close cooperation with ADB for the timely and effective implementation of the MCHIC project.

         It is worth to mention that, during the next ADB mission, discussions will focus on issues related to COVID-19 prevention, support of national strategies by the ABD and tasks in the field of health and social protection of the Republic of Tajikistan.
