Meeting on the introduction of Case-Based financing mechanism in pilot areas of the Project

The protection of public health, the provision of high-quality medical services to the population is one of the main directions of the policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. Various government programs are currently being implemented in cooperation with development partners and international organizations and organizations, especially in the field of maternal and child health.

Maternal and Child Health Integrated Care (MCHIC) Project under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population (MOHSPP) of the Republic of Tajikistan is one of those aimed at improving the level and quality of medical services for mothers and children.

In order to implement the MCHIC project in a timely manner, the First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan Muhsinzoda G.M. met with the International Consultant of the Project Samvel Kh., and the Project Manager Mahmudzoda I.S. to discuss the introduction of Case-Based financing mechanism in pilot areas (Rasht, Faizobod and Shamsiddin Shohin) of the Project.

During the meeting the main methods of introduction of case-based financing mechanism in the Republic of Tajikistan, Methodology of budget calculation, basis of principles of case-based financing mechanism, health financing reform and other issues were discussed.
