On September 3, 2021, in the hall of the Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, a Coordination and Consultative Council on Maternal and Child Health and Reproductive Health was held.
The meeting was attended by Z. Abdusamatsoda, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, officials of the project administration group (PAG) of the “Maternal and Child Health Integrated Care” (MCHIC) under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, UNICEF and other development partners.
The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdusamatzoda Z., who informed the audience about the issues under consideration and the attention of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in relation to protecting the health of mothers and children.
Shakhlo Shakarova UNICEF Specialist, has made a presentation in connection with the implementation of MCHIC project output 1 “Improving the quality of integrated services for maternal and child health in the pilot regions and output 3 “Increasing the level of knowledge about maternal and child health through various communication activities”.
Shoev Abdurahim Civil Engineer of the MCHIC project informed the audience about the rationalization and improvement of the infrastructure of maternal and child health services in the pilot regions.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan presented a letter of gratitude to MCHIC PAG.
