From 15 to 18 September 2021, within the framework of the project “Maternal and Child Health Integrated Care” (MCHIC) under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan there was held a training course on the presentation and implementation of electronic cataloging in perinatal areas targeting the pilot district of the project.
The training was attended by Nabiev Z.N. Head of the department of organization of maternal and child health and family planning of MoHSPP: Safarova G. Director of the Republican Center for Statistics and Medical Information, Filatova E., UNICEF International Consultant and employees of MoHSPP of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The main goal of the training was to prepare a group of trainers for the implementation of an electronic register of referal system for maternal and child health in three pilot districts of the Project: Fayzabad, Shamsiddin Shohin and Rasht.
The event included training on practical work with electronic catalogs and mobile applications for entering information about maternal (perinatal) and child health in accordance with the standards of the World Health Organization, adapted to the conditions of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as training on monitoring and implementing an innovative referral system mechanism.
