On November 16, 2012 the First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan Ghafur Muhsinzoda met with the General Director of the Asian Development Bank for Central Asia and West Asia Evgeny Zhukov.
Ghafur Muhsinzoda, the First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan, expressed satisfaction with the mutually beneficial cooperation between the Government of Tajikistan, in particular the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the country and the Asian Development Bank, including in the field of health, a number of projects are being successfully implemented.
Ghafur Muhsinzoda, the First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan, briefed Evgeny Zhukov, General Director of the Asian Development Bank for Central and West Asia, on the COVID-19 vaccination campaign and the state of coronavirus vaccines in the country.
During the meeting the parties expressed interest in further expanding cooperation in the field of health.
It should be noted that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the framework of the open-door policy has established good cooperation with international and regional organizations, including the Asian Development Bank, and is constantly taking measures to expand it.
