In order to effectively and purposefully use investment funds in the framework of the project “Maternal and Child Health Integrated Care” under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan in the pilot districts of Faizobod and Rasht and Shamsiddin Shahin of Khatlon region a network of primary health care facilities and medical kits were made available to doctors and family nurses.
The event was held in the pilot district, Mahmudzoda I.S, Manager of the Project “Maternal and Child Health Integrated Care” under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan; Sectoral deputies of the Executive bodies of state power of pilot districts; Project staff and officials from the Primary Health Care Facilities have participated.
It should be noted that the equipments were reviewed by the Evaluation Commission of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan and considered acceptable.
It is worth mentioning that medical and non-medical equipments consist of 41 items and doctors’ medical bags, 21 items and medical bags for nurses,28 items, including office furniture, semi-beds for examining patients, an obstetric table, an autoclave, a card index and so more.
