On March 9-16 of this year, a training course was held on the case-based financing mechanism in the pilot areas of the project “Maternal and Child Health Integrated Care” under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, including Rasht and Fayzobod republican subordination and Shamsiddin Shokhin of Khatlon region.
The training courses were attended by officials of the executive body of local government of the district; staff of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, international consultant on case-based financing mechanism, national-local consultant on case-based financing mechanism, doctors, nurses and nurse boys of the central hospitals of the pilot districts and officials of the Project administration group of “Maternal and Child Health Integrated Care”.
During the training, Samvel Kh., International lead health care financing specialist, presented the main methods of implementation of the financing system based on the results of treatment, depending on the main components and conditions of its implementation, budget account, budget organization and rules for financing treatment results, calculation of motivational payments to employees were provided with sufficient data.
It worth to be remarked that, the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is signed on October 26, 2021 №465 on the introduction of the case-based financing mechanism in the hospital structure and the joint order of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan dated November 30, 2021, №1086 and №177 on the introduction of the case-based financing mechanism in the pilot districts of Rasht and Faizobod of the republican subordination and Shamsiddin Shohin of Khatlon district.
