On July 20, 2022, for the purpose of effective and targeted use of investment funds, within the scope of the goals of the Project “Maternal and Child Health Integrated Care” (grant of the Asian Development Bank 0627 – TAJ (SF)) under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Central District Hospital of Faizabad, the official ceremony of construction works has taken place.
The ceremony was attended by Abdusamatzoda Z. Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kholzoda B.N. Chairman of the Faizabad District Executive Body, Mahmudzoda I.S. the manager of the Project Administration Group (PAG) MCHIC project, employees of the Faizabad district executive body, employees of PAG and specialists of the Central District Hospital of Faizabad.
It should be noted that the contract for construction works was concluded with LLC “Stroysentr” and within the scope of the contract, it is planned to repair and reconstruct the Central District Hospital, consisting of 10 departments with a capacity of 216 beds, and the construction of a treatment and diagnostic center, consisting of 6 departments with a capacity of 28 beds on an area of 9609 m2.
As part of the implementation of the MCHIC project in the Faizabad district, it is planned to repair and reconstruct the Central District Hospital, consisting of 10 departments with a capacity of 216 beds, and the construction of a treatment and diagnostic center, consisting of 6 departments with a capacity of 28 beds on an area of 9609 m2.
Also, within the framework of the project, it is planned to reconstruct the infrastructure (networks of drinking water supply, sewerage, heat supply, air purification, power supply), construction of facilities for the production of medical gas (oxygen). At the same time, within the framework of the Project, it is planned to equip this facility with new furniture and laboratory equipment.
